Michael Doherty

Mike Doherty joined Edgewood Capital Advisors in 2020. Mike is responsible for originating, underwriting, and structuring commercial real estate debt investments nationwide, including senior bridge debt, mezzanine debt, preferred equity and other opportunistic commercial real estate investments. Prior to joining Edgewood, Mr. Doherty worked at Waypoint Residential, a vertically integrated real estate investment firm specializing in the acquisition and development of rental housing. Prior to Waypoint, Mr. Doherty worked at The Community Development Trust, a private REIT and national investor in affordable housing. Mr. Doherty holds a B.A. in Political Science from Fairfield University and a M.S. in Real Estate from New York University, with a concentration in Finance and Investments.
